COVID-19 Update

6/3/2021

The Homestead follows all of the COVID-19 recommendations from the CDC.  The American Health Care Association reports that based on the months of January through March 2021 the number of COVID-19 new cases in the senior population declined 93%.  The decline is attributed to the vaccine.

The Homestead has access to the COVID-19 vaccine and COVID-19 testing capabilities for its staff and resident community.  The Homestead utilizes hands free handwashing stations, computerized monitoring for COVID-19 and a facility wide built-in air cleaner that abolished 99.9% of viruses and germs in the air, including the virus that causes COVID-19.  Currently all staff members at The Homestead are required to wear masks while on duty.

Under current recommendations, the facility is receiving visitors. Please direct any specific questions about visitation to the Executive Director’s office.
